SheJumps Companion Rescue Clinic with Friends of GNFAC

Join SheJumps and the Friends of the Gallatin National Forest Avalanche center for a women’s only, two-part companion rescue clinic! The clinic includes an indoor session covering basic avalanche awareness and companion rescue concepts, which will be followed by a hands-on field session in Hyalite Canyon. No prior avalanche experience necessary for attendance; all skill levels welcome! For the Saturday field session please bring some form of winter backcountry travel (AT skis, snowshoes, etc.), enough food and water for a day outside, as well as a beacon, shovel and probe. This clinic is capped at 24 participants so don't forget to register early! All proceeds will go to SheJumps and the Friends of the Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center.
