About this Event

Shedd Aquarium is hosting an informational open house for prospective volunteers.

At this lively interactive session, you’ll see how you can help Shedd spark curiosity, compassion and conservation for the aquatic animal world while expanding your own knowledge, building new skills, and meeting great people. Hear from current volunteers about what they do at Shedd, get the details on how to apply and what benefits are offered, and have your questions answered. Be prepared to talk to others and share why you want to get involved at Shedd.

*Please note that we require a minimum three-month commitment, with weekly, bi-weekly or flex schedules, and you must be at least 12 years old (12- to 15-year-olds must volunteer with an adult).
