This on-bike class will focus on the bike-handling skills you need to safely and confidently ride in urban traffic. The class will be conducted in a car-free space, and is the second in the Smart City Cycling sequence. Smart City Cycling 1: Classroom or Intro to Urban Bicycling is a prerequisite for this course. - How to ride with one hand in order to signal
- Scanning over one's shoulder while maintaining a straight line
- Crash-avoidance maneuvers

A bicycle and helmet are required for this class. There are a number of bike rental shops close to the class location if you need to rent a bike.
