Learn how to use Inworks Necchi Sewing Machine and Brother Serger. You will learn how to thread and safely use the machines, and choose between different types of seams and fabrics.

Our emphasis is on using textiles as prototyping material. We deconstruct cloth items (for instance, an old pair of jeans, an old backpack), and focus on fasteners, such as zippers, snaps, and velcro. This allows participants to quickly hack, adapt, and create useful prototypes.

No pre-requisites are required for this workshop.

Participants are required to read and sign the Inworks Terms of Use and General Safety Rules
