Students will learn the fundamentals of fashion draping, including understanding grainline, draping on the bias, and using styling tape. The instructor will work with each student to develop a final design project which will then be turned into a sewing pattern. This class will focus on the dress form, and students will make a sample draped blouse or skirt.
Prerequisite:
Sewing 101 or solid knowledge of sewing construction techniques.
