A training for those who seek to engage with wisdom and compassion the poor and the mentally ill through the community of faith.

Pastors, ministry leaders, church staff and volunteers - all those desiring to effectively minister to those who are homeless and/or to those with disabling mental illness are invited to join us for this training.  Explore common symptoms of extreme mental illness, Homelessness 101, how to identify a mental health crisis (including suicidality) and offer pastoral care and assistance, appropriately collaborating with community resources - all the basics of walking in faith and community with those who are severely mentally ill and those who are living in poverty.
