August 25 One Day Pony Class Ages 3 and up

Voted Most Loved Place to Go by Leesburg-Ashburn Hulafrog for 2018 & 2019! This is a class geared toward beginning horse enthusiasts. This is a one day class that will have three different age groups if numbers allow. We will have three age groups: a 3-5 year old group, a 6-8 year old group and 9 and up group. These sessions are dedicated to learning the basics of horsemanship. The children will get to ride, but most importantly, safety, grooming, and horse terminology will be introduced. There will be will be pony related craft. A small snack will be provided. Parents are welcome to participate, especially with the younger group, but not required. A detailed schedule of the day will be sent out to the attendees prior to the event. A certificate of completion will be provided to your child. There is a minimum of 2 participants needed to hold the class. There is a maximum of 10 participants. Class is held August 25 9am-11am Event is rain or shine! If inclement weather, we will have the class in our new party/lesson barn! Registration closed August 15, or when full. Ms. Lipovsky is the owner of Hogback Mountain Pony Rides. She has been around horses her whole life. Ms. Lipovsky grew up on Hogback Mountain Road. She has a masters degree in education and is a middle school teacher in Loudoun County. Ms. Lipovsky is first aid and cpr certified.
