SELENA at Historic Sunset Station - 20th Anniversary Movie Party!

20 years ago this month, SELENA first hit movie theater screens and told the audiences everywhere the story of Selena Quintanilla-Pérez.

To celebrate, we're throwing two nights of SELENA Movie Party screenings in San Antonio at a super special location - Historic Sunset Station.

Sunset Station not only served as a location for the music video to Selena's hit, No Me Queda Más, but the same staircase inside the Depot from that video also serves as a backdrop during the fashion show scene in the film SELENA, meaning that those stairs were walked by both Selena and Jennifer Lopez, and at these events you can walk on them, too.

We have taken over the venue for two nights on the anniversary weekend of the film's original 1997 release, and we're hosting Movie Party screenings featuring live music from Bidi Bidi Banda, one of the premiere Selena cover bands in Texas, plus props for everyone to use while singing along with the band AND the movie, and plenty of food and drink available for purchase on site to fuel the party through the night.

Featuring Lone Star beers, Tito's Handmade Vodka cocktails and more, our bars will be available as soon as doors open and up through the start of the movie, and a pop up kitchen from Frank will have plenty of hot dogs available. So even though you'll be enjoying the film at one of our two portable movie screens set up just for these events, you can still eat and drink like you're at an Alamo Drafthouse.

For the first part of the evening, we'll also have a special photo booth set up where you can get your photo taken on the very same stairs Selena sung on in her music video, and the same stairs Jennifer Lopez later walked down in the film.

Come dressed up ready to compete in Bidi Bidi Banda's Selena lookalike contest and you'll be set to look great in all of your photos, and join us as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of this film!

PLUS - for the first time in Rolling Roadshow history, all of our seats are going to be in reserved sections, so you can enjoy the concert on the main stage without having to worry about someone taking your favorite spot to see the movie. And you don't need to bring a chair with you, because we'll have them all provided!

There are two sections of reserved seating available - a main stage under the Lone Star Pavilion outdoors, and a VIP section of seating inside the Depot that was used as a location from Selena's music video and in the film.

Lone Star Pavilion Tickets: $35 adult / $15 child under 12

The Depot Tickets: $50 adult / $30 child under 12

Tickets may be available at door if the event is not sold out. (NO Cash - Debit/credit ONLY)
