"In Season" Cooking Series at Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails
There’s no better time to sip, savor and socialize on one of the best patios in Downtown Phoenix with Executive Chef Dushyant Singh embracing the seasons and natural elements by launching his new “In Season” cooking series at Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails.
On the second Wednesday of every month starting at 5:30 p.m., the Blue Hound patio will transform into a scene from Chef Singh’s backyard as he hosts a small group of foodies for a casual and interactive evening under the city lights. Located in the heart of Downtown Phoenix, the series will take on the ambience of a dinner party at a friend’s house as guests are encouraged to engage with Chef over his “kitchen island” as he preps, cooks and serves different bites throughout the night. Each event will have a different theme and will be centered around what Chef Singh is currently obsessing over from ingredients to local purveyors.
“I really wanted to shy away from the typical cooking demonstration and create an elevated, yet approachable atmosphere where guests can hang out with me as if I were entertaining them in my home,” said Chef Singh. “Perfect for a date night or an evening out with friends, ‘In Season’ is a great way for people to meet their neighbors while also showcasing some of the raw culinary talent Phoenix has to offer. These spring events are just a taste of what we have in store for the series in 2020.”
April 8: “Eat Your Greens” - With a focus on artichokes, kohlrabi and green garlic, Chef Singh will show guests how to bring these underserved ingredients to life.
With tickets starting from $30 including tax and gratuity, guests will receive a selection of bites prepared by Chef Singh, a variety of beer and wine tastings from local makers and brewers and a small takeaway. “In Season” will be limited to 25 people and can also be bought-out for events.
