Scripps National Spelling Bee Mural Apprentice Presentation

Join us for a special presentation by the Apprentices who will be working on the Scripps National Spelling Bee mural over the summer. This is a chance for the Apprentices to show what they’ve learned during their summer orientation and a chance to hone their presentation skills. They will be presenting the mural design to our partners and also provide the background and context about the mural project itself. Don’t miss this chance to support the Apprentices and their hard work!

ArtWorks has partnered with Cincinnati-based Scripps National Spelling Bee to produce a mural in Summer 2017.  In honor of their 90th anniversary, this mural will reflect the mission and spirit of the National Spelling Bee program, celebrating what has made this international event so meaningful for the past 90 years.  In addition to producing a great work of public art, the Scripps National Spelling Bee mural will connect viewers with a part of Cincinnati’s rich history that continues to support an incredible mission:  "Inspire (Experience a journey filled with excitedment and emotion), Discover (Celebrate the power of the human spirit), Champion (Advocate for a lesson deeper than language)".
