Screenwriting Class: Exposition (FREE)
Why do expository scenes bore people to tears? Is it possible to convey vital story data in a way that also entertains? We will look at several ways of hiding or spicing up exposition in this upcoming Wednesday members class.
We’ll also perform a case-study of several scenes from produced features, which demonstrate some great ways to deliver key info while keeping readers interested.
Bring a 1-4 page scene from one of your features. Conor will select a few student exposition scenes during the class to examine, and we ll brainstorm ways to take them to the next level.
