ScholarShot Mentor Training

Did you know nine out of ten low income students drop out of college? ScholarShot has reversed this statistic by helping 90% of our 160 Scholars remain on track to graduate through personalized academic management and financial assistance. Although ScholarShot's model has continued to support Scholars toward degree completion, mentors are crucial to building a network of personal and professional resources for them.

ScholarShot is looking for volunteer mentors for our amazing Scholars! If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please attend our Mentor Training on Tuesday, Mar 3 at 6pm. Our recently matched volunteers that want more support in their mentor roles are also invited.

At this training, you will:

1. Understand the ScholarShot model & our population

2. Learn the qualifications and duties of a mentor

3. Receive tips/insight on how to cultivate the mentor/mentee relationship
