Learn how to Save Lives with St. Luke's - Stop the Bleed
Each and every one of us has what it takes to be a lifesaving hero - from donating blood and registering an organ donor, to having the hands-on skills needed in case of a medical emergency. As Phoenicians, we're all first responders! In the event of an emergency, learn what you can do to help someone in need until 9-1-1 professionals arrive.
Saving Lives with St. Luke's instructs community members on how to medically react in the event of an emergency until 9-1-1 arrives through CPR training and a Stop the Bleed training course.
Join Maricopa County certified trainers from St. Luke's Medical Center in a 2-hour "Stop the Bleed" training course. "Stop the Bleed" is a national awareness campaign launched by the White House in 2015 to encourage bystanders to come trained, equipped and empowered to help a person in a bleeding emergency. You will also learn hands-on skills on how to provide CPR in the field.
Space is limited and RSVPs are required.
