Saturday Sewing Spring 2020 - 8 to 11 years - Graduate Hospital Studio - Philadelphia, PA 2020

We give 8-11 year olds the skills they need to bring fabric to life. In addition to learning how to thread and operate a sewing machine with complete independence, students learn advanced skills like how to insert zippers, topstitching, working with linings and sewing curved seams. Projects for this age group have included backpacks, simple garments, lunch boxes, accessories, stuffed animals and much more. Time: 9:30-11:30am Dates: 7 Saturdays on Apr 4, Apr 18, Apr 25, May 2, May 9, May 16 & May 30. This session skips Apr 11 for Easter weekend and May 23 for Memorial Day.
