In El Salvador and much of Central America, "quesadillas" refer to a sweet cheese bread that is often paired with a cup of coffee. Join Karla T. Vasquez, SalviSoul founder for a hands-on cooking class on one of El Salvador's most beloved pan dulces, quesadilla.
What's Included:
Karla will share a short history of Salvadoran quesadillas, explain the regional differences, and provide a cheese tasting. After Karla will walk participants through the steps of baking their own. There will also be a tasting of single-origin coffee provided by Don Leo's Coffee along with a Q&A.
Each ticket includes the ingredients, a SalviSoul recipe card, and one Don Leo's 12 oz. bag of premium single origin Salvadoran coffee.

Know Before You Go:
Classes are held in private homes. Each participant will be emailed with the address of the class location and relevant class details once a ticket is purchased.
Please wear comfortable clothing you don't mind getting flour on. Also, smile for the camera! There will be photos taken so sport your best cooking outfit.
