SafeHouse Chicago, known for its delicious spy-food and Chicago’s #1 burger, has officially launched their new “Lunch Like a Spy” mission. Control understands that lunch excursions often need to be completed quickly, as spies cannot be gone from their undercover “day jobs” for long.  That being said, the spy-themed hangout has guaranteed that guests can be in and out in 45 minutes or their lunch is free!  Returning agents can also enroll in the SafeHouse undercover lunch program that allows business spies to bypass the clearance test to ensure a timely mission AND earn points for their visit, which can culminate in free food.

The “Lunch Like a Spy” special is available Monday - Friday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and offers guests a full lunch mission to include any sandwich, burger or salad, along with choice of fries, a vegetable, or fruit, and a soft drink for only $14.95, exclusive of tax and tip. Those who tell Agent M upon entry that they are there to “Lunch Like a Spy,” will be able to bypass the clearance test and expedite their lunch mission.

The SafeHouse lunch menu features delicious sandwich options like the SR-71 Blackbird, which is a homemade marinated chicken breast fried with buttermilk and served on a freshly baked brioche bun with chipotle mayo and the Cuban Missile Crisis, with slow-roasted pork, sliced ham, melted Swiss cheese, dill pickle chips and honey mustard aioli on a pressed ciabatta bun.

Those who have a hankering for a lunchtime burger can enjoy options like the MOAB (Mother of All Burgers), voted #1 burger by readers of Chicago Magazine, made with USDA hand-pattied beef, topped with American cheese, bacon, an over easy egg and secret sauce, all on a brioche bun, and the Smersh Burger, a favorite of vegan agents, made with a black bean patty and topped with red peppers, sautéed mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, and a creamy herb dressing on the side.
