Rockland Community College (RCC) Veterans Affairs and B.R.i.D.G.E.S. invite you to join us for our first Obstacle Course/Fun Run on Sunday, April 23, 2017.  All proceeds from the fundraiser will be split 50/50 between RCC Veterans Affairs and the RILC Vet to Vet Peer Mentoring Program.

The obstacle course/fun race is for ages 14 & over!

Run the Rock, an obstacle course/fun run to be held on RCC’s main campus, will include professionally designed obstacles over a 5K course.

REGISTER EARLY!

  • $55 per person 
  • $35 for RCC students & staff

Registration includes a race bib and t-shirt only if you sign up before Saturday, April 1, 2017. You can pick up your items at the registration table the day of the event.

*Check-in begins a 45 minutes before your race time.

9:00 AM, 9:45 AM, 10:30 AM, 11:15 am, and Noon

Registration

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

You must be 14 or older to enter the event.

When is the last day to register?

The last day to register is Friday, April 21, 2017. $55 per person.

What is the refund policy?

There are no refunds.

Can I volunteer?

Yes and your friends too!  You can sign up at Run the Rock Volunteer Form.

Race/Event

When should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 45 minutes before your wave/race time.

What should I wear to the race?

Sneakers are required. Participants should wear comfortable clothing, long pants recommended because of the partially wooded area.

Will there be activities for children?

Yes, there will be a bounce house and face painting.

Are spectators allowed?

Yes, spectators are allowed.

What are my parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is free. 

Are the events timed? 

No, the events are not timed.

Can I skip an obstacle?

Yes.

Will this event be held rain or shine? 

Yes. This is an outdoor event so plan accordingly if inclement weather is in the forecast.

Will there be first aid available?

Yes, there will be first aid available.

Will there be refreshments and food for sale?

Yes.
