Overall Run Shenandoah Winter Hike

Just because it\'s cold outside doesn\'t mean you have to stay indoors. Shenandoah National park is THE destination for hiking in the Mid-Atlantic! Join REI\'s professional guides on our favorite trails in the park. We\'ll begin with gentle hiking along Shenandoah\'s Overall Run then climb steep switchbacks to reach Overall Run Falls - one of Virginia\'s tallest waterfalls and a truly stunning sight when it\'s frozen. After enjoying lunch and the falls we return down valley with views of Massunutten Mountain. Along the way we\'ll teach you a few tips to making hiking more comfortable and enjoyable. REI will provide transportation along with a catered lunch and hot drinks. Note: Overall Run hike is a strenuous 7-8 miles round-trip and 2000\' of elevation gain.
