Rug Braiding Workshop

Interested in learning how to create a braided rug? Join us on Saturday, and Sunday, February 22nd and 23rd for our workshop.

Interested in learning how to create a braided rug? Join us on Saturday January 18th for our first workshop. Students will learn how to start a round braided rug , techniques on braiding the wool, adding on more wool , splicing the lacing thread, lacing a braided rug , and how to taper and finish a round rug.

This workshop is being offered for two days, at two different price points.

Saturday February 22nd, 12 - 3 p.m. to start the course with the option to return on Sunday February 23rd, 12 - 3 p.m. to complete the project and receive more instruction.

lacing thread

braid kin lacing needle

splicing needle

clothes pin clamp
