Sto-Rox Coding Club

Weekly coding club for novices interested in learning to code. We are using various platforms for learning to code. Most of what we do has been using JavaScript.. No experience is necessary, just a desire to learn. We are currently looking for new members who would like to  help us move the club forward. 

 We frequently use Sphero, Ollie, R2-D2 and BB-8 robots to learn and play with coding. We have used Code.org, Bitsbox, PencilCode.net to learn and create web-based programs. The club is volunteer driven and is free of charge to members. We are exploring a new program which is javascript based and is used for mixing beats and we are starting to use Raspberry Pi's.

Our meeting room is now located in the basement of the Health Center, directly next door to the Father Ryan Arts Center. You can ask at the Library (inside the Father Ryan Arts Center)
