Drag Queens Duke it Out in Brunch Battle Showcase
Ross Mathews’ bubbly charm and charisma made him a fan favorite on RuPaul’s Drag Race. Since then, his fame has only grown, hosting the 2018 Miss America Pageant and receiving the incredible honor of being named America’s Favorite Celebrity on Celebrity Big Brother. Now, Mathews is leaving the small screen behind to produce the Dragtastic Bubbly Brunch at Rockwell Table and Stage in Los Angeles. As Mathews himself describes it, “I make a living judging drag queens, and now I want to give back by putting them to work, using champagne to lure in my favorite queens.” But the fierce and fabulous queens hitting the stage — many of whom are veterans of RuPaul’s Drag Race — aren’t the only ones sipping champagne: Every guest gets a mimosa the second they walk in the door, along with the chance to compete against other guests for another free cocktail with the “lip sync for a drink” activity, based on RuPaul’s “lip sync for your life” challenge.
