Find “delight in the hardy life of the open” by breaking a sweat along the trails around Theodore Roosevelt Island every Saturday morning at 9am. The Roosevelt Island DC parkrun is not a race against other runners, but rather a FREE 5k timed run against yourself.
The all volunteer led event is simple and offers no barriers to taking part. You can run, jog, walk, bring a dog on a leash, push your children in a stroller, and/or range in age from be 5 years to 105.
Theodore Roosevelt Island (TRI) parkrun brings the local community together and creates a healthier and happier planet through physical activity by encouraging people to walk, jog, or run together irrespective of their ability.
Participating is EASY.

before your first-ever parkrun. You only need to do this ONCE! Then set your alarm and bring your barcode as we #RunTRI every Saturday morning.
