Delve into a joint research study on the social, cultural and economic benefits of house museums with Mark Stapp and Victor Sidy. Unlike other states that embrace the house museum model to preserve cultural heritage, Arizona lags behind with about only 15 publicly accessible historic homes and has shockingly few midcentury homes among them.

Come find out why this might be, and reasons to change attitudes toward what is "historic" to increase public access to private domains.

Stapp is the Executive Director of the W. P. Carey Master of Real Estate Development program at ASU and Sidy is a practicing architect and former Dean of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture.
