Weekly jam that used to meet at my house being resurrected as a semi-regular gig with rotating lineup at local bar. Nice little comfortable neighborhood joint. Easy parking, no cover. Sometimes packed, sometimes not. Real low-stress scene if you don t have a lot of stage experience yet, but fire coded to about 50.
Only a little more structured than before. Tablet files/sheets for chords/lyrics still shared, but not really a song circle for beginners or an open mic for individuals. Rather, looking for people who like to and can lead some songs and jam together with others on their turns.
Not a gigantic stage, but in addition to an other guitar player, bass, and keyboards and drums, it d be great to add in any melody player: fiddle, flute, mandolin, or a horn?
All welcome to attend, but the lineup will be finalized a few days before the next date reserved, Sun 9/26, 7-9. It s tricky to organize different people on different instruments on different days, but please, If interested, go ahead and RSVP with info on what instrument you play, if you re generally interested in Sundays or Wednesdays, and specifically if you want to play 9/26, and what kind of songs you can lead, meaning lead the group and sing the song, on your turns.
