On the second anniversary of her murder by a white nationalist, Alexandrians and others will be gathering together to remember with honor the citizenship of Heather Heyer, discuss the threat of white nationalist terrorism, express our demand for common sense gun reforms and highlight sponsor, Safer Country's mission.
The location is a memorial tree grove created to honor the victims and survivors of the Virginia Tech mass shooting tragedy. It is next door to T.C. Williams High School in the rear of Chinquapin Park. The driveway to use runs between the park and the high school.
A candle lighting will be held at 9:00 pm.
