FRIDAY August 18 and SATURDAY August 20 - Women's Gathering 

Our Haudenosaunee women from across the Confederacy are joining together in the homelands of our Mother of Nations, Jigonsaseh. This is a space of encouragement, support, and love for our Haudenosaunee Sisterhood and one another. Let’s begin conversations of renewal and resurgence of our strength as mothers to our Nations, in a peaceful forum. Brining our hearts and minds together for the future of our Confederacy, our children, and Mother Earth.  

Women 13 years and older are invited for the 2-day women's gathering. 

Registration is only required for the 2 day women's gathering, on Friday and Saturday. 

If your ticket type is sold out, please register for an Over flow ticket -- see details below. 

SUNDAY August 20 and MONDAY August 21 - RENEWAL FOR ONKEHONWE PEOPLE 

All Haudenosaunee family, especially our children and youth, our men, and our women are invited to be present. The story of Jigonsaseh will be told, in a renewal for all our people.  This is ceremonial, please come prepared.   Please email the organizers if you need more information.  Please respect that this is closed event, for Native people only. 

Join in a renewal for all our people, healing in song and dance, and unification under the Great White Pine at Ganondagan when the solar eclipse passes over the Sky.  Acknowledge our commitment to work together as One Family, as our ancestors did when our Confederacy was formed.   

INFORMATION ON TICKETS: 

Tickets ONLY required for Women's Gathering Friday and Saturday, August 18  - 19.

  • Tickets for women's gathering are divided equally by Nation.  ONE ticket per person, Naiwen!

  • TICKETS ARE FREE, DONATIONS ARE WELCOME TO HELP COVER THE COSTS FOR THE GATHERING.  VISIT OUR WEBSITE TO MAKE A DONATION:  WWW.YOUCARING.COM/REKINDLETHEFIRE 
  • Over flow tickets are for outdoor tent seating at Ganondagan. Reserve your ticket on this site now.  

  • Live Stream -- if you can't make the women's gathering -- listen to the event speakers on your computer or mobile phone. Reserve your ticket on this site now. 

  • Volunteers are needed throughout the weekend. Reserve a volunteer ticket on this site now.

Tickets NOT required for Renewal Sunday and Monday, August 20 and 21.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

August 18  - 19 Women's Gathering:  

Onkwehonwe women 13 years and older 

August 20 - 21  Renewal: 

All Onkwehonwe people men, women, and children.  Please bring your traditional clothing and your own plates, bowls, cup, silveware, containers for food and napkins.  Please bring traditional, fresh foods from your gardens to contribute to food for everyone.  

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

On-site parking available. 

What can I bring into the event?

1. Please bring your own plate, bowl, cup, silverware, containers for food, and napkins to reduce our waste.  Dishwashing stations will be available.  
2. Please bring traditional, fresh vegetables and fresh fruits from your garden to contribute to the food for everyone for the weekend.

What's the refund policy?

Tickets are free.

Local hotels have rooms blocked for the gathering.  There is also local camping sites.
