The remains of 36 African-descended people were unearthed when the city began construction on the Gaillard Center in 2013. Each of you are invited to join in honoring them on Saturday, May 4, when a grand procession will take them in horse-drawn caskets from Barnet Garden (58 George St.) to a vault where they will be reinterred. The procession starts at 10:30AM.
