Red Bull and Party Noire have joined forces to bring the Pride celebration back to the South Side of Chicago. The show honors the LGBTQIA+ pioneers of Chicago; 50 years ago, a group of South Side students threw the city's very first public lesbian and gay dance party. Since then, as Chicago has risen as the Midwest's top Pride celebration, the events and parties have significantly been thrown on the North Side, growing further and further away from the city's South Side, and the city's QTPOC community. To bring further awareness, and reclaim the celebration, Party Noire and Red Bull are hosting Red Bull Presents: Renaissance One at the Promontory on June 27th. The night will feature the sounds of Bbymutha, TT the Artist, Kidd Kenn, Blu Bone and more. Join this celebration in honor the South Side LGBTQIA+ pioneers of Chicago.
