Carolyn Costin, MA, MEd, MFT, FAED, CEDS
About the Event:
Carolyn Costin has been treating eating disorders for over 3 decades and is known for her success in the field. She will bring her expertise, energy and enthusiasm to help participants gain practical skills for taking clients from disordered to recovered. Carolyn will discusses several ingredients necessary to help clients challenge their eating disorder self and strengthen their healthy self in order to heal. Using concepts from her book, "8 Keys to Recovery From an Eating Disorder", Carolyn will focus this talk on practical strategies for dealing with resistance, facilitating behavior change, and dealing directly with the food . Participants will be able to return to their practice with assignments and techniques to use with their clients.
