Real Estate Development Workshop (part of the Community Dev. Workshop)

As part of the 6th Annual Community Development Workshop, LISC is again hosting its popular Real Estate Development Training on Friday, February 23rd from 8:00am to 3:00pm. All who complete the training will receive a certificate of completion. 

Led by Mike Grube, Director of Development for Yarco Companies and Adjunct Professor at University of Kansas, the real estate track schedule includes:

Registration + Breakfast: 8:00-8:30am

Workshop Session: 8:30am to 3:00pm

• Development analysis
• Planning, design and construction
• Finance and debt structuring
• Implementation
• Understanding Debt and Equity
• Primer on Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and Historic Tax Credit
• Table top exercise

The real estate development training is valued at $300. LISC is able to offer a discounted registration fee of $80 for those who register before January 31. Due to limited space, please contact us if you intend on sending more than three people from your oganization.
