Reaching & Serving LGBTQ Youth in Santa Rosa

LGBTQ Connection is hosting a free "Reaching & Serving LGBTQ Youth" training in Santa Rosa and you are invited! This well-reviewed community training is designed to increase the ability of Sonoma County's community-serving professionals to understand and include lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning youth and how to best support them. 
Who is this for? Providers—educators, social services, healthcare, mental health, housing, government, faith community, social & community groups, community leaders—and others interested in improving their reach & understanding of LGBTQ youth.

Some objectives & activities include:

• Learn about LGBTQ identity, terms & issues.

• Hear personal experiences from a panel of local LGBTQ people.

• Take away practical best practices for what you & your org can do to better reach & serve LGBTQ people.

• Have opportunities for discussion, questions, & comments.

Note: Light snacks & refreshments will be provided.
