Randy Fischer's Literature in Film Series presents the 1951 award-winning classic A PLACE IN THE SUN starring Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Clift. From the Theodore Dreiser novel AN AMERICAN TRAGEDY.

Charles Chaplin considered this "the greatest movie ever made about America".

The Plot: A poor boy gets a job working for his rich uncle and ends up falling in love with two women.

Before the movie, former film critic for National Public Radio Randy Fischer will give a mini-lecture on the film.

Go 2.8 miles and you are there(cross street is Joshua View). You will see the Bijou sign in front.
