Racial Trauma Support Group

In which ways are you triggered by recent events in the media? How has racial trauma emotionally impacted your ability to function?

Believe it or not, sometimes when we are exposed to too much stimuli from the media or community, our emotional responses and relational dynamics shift. Often times as people of color, we internalize these emotions as a means of 'getting by' or 'being strong'. While at one point in history this method preserved the endurance of our ancestors, we now have a means of healing from the scars of racial trauma.

I am passionate about seeing us transition, take care of ourselves, and process our emotions in an effective manner. Please join me and others, as we create this safe space together!
