Puppy Kindergarten

Puppy Kindergarten covers obedience essentials such as sit, down, stay, come and loose leash walking. We will also problem solve typical puppy problem behaviors such as puppy mouthing, chewing, jumping up, and house soiling. This class will meet once a week at 7 pm-8 pm for six weeks starting on October 17th. Please note the first class is owners only. Please do not bring your dog on the first week of class. 

Course prerequisites: Dogs must be between the ages of 4 to 6 months and must be able to be handled by a friendly stranger and able to work safely around people and other dogs on leash. Puppies must have their first full round of vaccinations. You must provide proof of vaccinations prior to the first day of class.

Do you offer discounts?

We currently offer discounts to clients enrolling a dog adopted from PHS and active PHS volunteers. Please email behavior@pasadenahumane.org regarding discounts. We require your name, address, and dog's name to verify you have adopted the dog from PHS or that you are an active volunteer. Please allow 24 hours for us to respond. Discount codes can be given to you even before tickets go on sale!

Can I enroll multiple dogs in the same class?

Yes but we require that each dog have an adult handler. 

In the event that you are no longer able to attend class and need a refund, please be advised that Eventbrite’s nonrefundable service fee may or may not be subtracted out of the total amount you paid.  Partial refunds are available up to 7 days before the start of class after which all payments are non-refundable.
