Project-Based Learning 3-Day Workshop
This three-day summer institute is designed for educators interested in advancing students deeper learning through interdisciplinary, career-pathway aligned Project Based Learning. Learn about how Brain Exchange Project Based Learning approach to designing high-quality PBLs that will offer voice and choice opportunities, deeper learning, complex driving questions that will lead to real-world connections and hands-on application. Schools and districts are strongly encouraged to send grade-level teams along with a Career Technical Education teacher. Teams will leave the institute with a well -developed project design that will engage students through inquiry.

Project Based Learning is an effective approach that allows students to research, develop and learn while they learn relevant skills for college, career, and life. In this NEW seminar, Instructional Director, Dr. Marguerite Williams, will provide powerful strategies for successfully integrating PBL in your classroom or school.
You will be presented with numerous strategies specifically geared for grades 6-12 learning environments. Dr. Williams will introduce you to PBL templates, and a PBL rubric . Teachers will be able to explore websites with PBL samples and ideas.
You will leave this workshop with a wealth of practical ideas and perspectives, increased confidence in meeting the needs of all your students and list of resources of resources that will help you start your PBL journey.
