Progress Note Training - April 22, 2018

Description

This is intended for mental health and substance use disorder clinical staff who work within the King County Provider Network. The training will incorporate the following topics:

• Clinical and systemic reasons for writing notes;
• Interventions as an important component of clinical documentation;
• Progress note pitfalls;
• Tools to help write stronger—not longer—progress notes; and
• Define and build on the “Golden Thread” concept with a focus on specific difficulties clinicians throughout King County have encountered and how to correct them
