Pro-am chili cook off presented by rocket frog

Do you make a chili worth bragging about? Do you have a chili recipe that can’t be beat?

Do you make a chili worth bragging about? Do you have a chili recipe that can’t be beat? Or do you have what it takes to sample loads of chili and beer? If so, then join us February 1st. There will be two competitions; the amateurs will compete for the prizes listed below. The three pre-selected restaurants and their chili will compete for the right to purchase a one-off variant from us for their restaurant. Entries for competition is limited.

Can't cook? No problem. Come sample and vote for your favorites. We ask for a $5 cash donation, $7 credit card donation, or $5 worth of canned items. All donations will benefit the Loudoun Hunger Relief organization, plus you'll receive 50% off your first pour or flight.

Details and Rules

- The pro category will have 3 pre-selected entries

- The amateur category will have up to 15 entries only. Each participant will receive a $15 Gift Certificate. So enter early!

- Competitors please supply 4-6 quarts of chili, preferably in a crock-pot. Power outlets will be provided.

- ALL Competitors must present a printed list of ingredients that can be displayed with your chili for allergen purposes.

- Winners will be determined by a blind taste test and scored by our three judges. Scores will be combined with fan votes to determine overall winners.

-Grand Prize: A membership in our Launchpad Society. This includes a custom Rocket Frog Drink Tank growler, custom t-shirt, custom glass, custom bottle opener, and bottle of a limited-release barrel-aged beer.

-The winners of the judged competition and popular vote will receive a $50 gift card.
