Just for You can work in 3 ways:

1. Just the Test. If you have already been certified in the past, and you are confident in your skills, it's easy and convenient to simply test your skills and get back to your day. This usually takes about 15 minutes or less!
2. EZ Practice+Test. If you have been certified in the past, and want to re-certify without any class time, an instructor will help you practice and then test your skills. We'll help you get it done in about 30 minutes!
3. Red Cross Blended. Red Cross allows you to take a full class by learning the information online through a self-paced simulated environment, then taking the test with a licensed instructor. With Purple, you can save time on the test by doing it 1-on-1. You'll be certified within 30 minutes!

Why Purple Health and Safety?

Have you ever had to sit through an excruciatingly dull and boring class? We sure have … it makes it awfully difficult to pay attention and learn, doesn’t it? When it’s finally over (whew!), you have a certification card, but do you really know what do do in case of an emergency? (ummm … well, hopefully, nothing ever happens!)

Have you ever taken a First Aid or CPR class where you didn’t really learn everything? Sure, you got your certification card, but they didn’t really teach you everything that was supposed to be included? Yes, we know this happens out there … you get to leave early (what a relief!) but are you actually prepared to respond if something happens? (uh-oh!)

At Purple Health and Safety, our instructors are friendly, knowledgeable experts who will teach the class without skipping steps. We will be thorough so that you can learn what you need to know. But we won’t drone on and waste your time! We’ll be sure to keep it fun and interesting … plus, we have snacks!

When Will I Receive My Certification?

That’s a great question! And, we have an answer you’ll like :) 

Instead of waiting days to receive your certification, you’ll get yours by email form Purple Health and Safety within just  6 hours from the successful completion of a program!

In your e-mail, you’ll find two documents. One will be your Certificate of Completion. The other is will be a wallet-sized certificate. Both can be printed for your use as well as forwarded to any relevant parties. 

Within 72 hours of completion, you and your employer should be able to use https://www.redcross.org/take-a-class/digital-certificate to find your digital certificate. 

Took the class last-minute and need the certificate RIGHT AWAY? Not to worry, we’ll print one out for you right after you’re done for $1.50. Be sure to let your instructor or the on-site Hospitality Manager know you chose this option.

Refund and Class Reschedule Policy

If you need to cancel and/or request to reschedule, call (443-262-0063) or email hello@purplehs.com.

Due to the limited availability of seating and the need to fill classes, refunds are not available. You can, however, reschedule classes at a discounted rate, by simply paying a rescheduling fee-only (in other words, you won't pay the full price again).

• Rescheduling requested within 48 hours of the originally scheduled class time will incur a rescheduling fee equal to the class fee only (varies, depending on the class) plus an administrative fee of $3. In other words, you will not need to repay for the Red Cross certification fee.

• Rescheduling requested 48-72 hours in advance of the originally scheduled class time will incur a $25 rescheduling fee.

• Rescheduling requested 4-5 days in advance of the originally scheduled class time will incur a $20 rescheduling fee.

• Rescheduling requested 6-7 days in advance of the originally scheduled class time will incur a $15 rescheduling fee.

• Rescheduling requested more than 7 days in advance of the originally scheduled class time will incur a $10 rescheduling fee.

If you request to reschedule your training, you will receive an email with a reschedule code. This code will allow you to sign up for another class for the amount of the reschedule fee. The code you receive must be used within 30 days from the date it is given to you. 

NOTICE OF FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY

By attending any Purple Health and Safety class or event, you enter a place where photography, audio, and video recording may occur.

Unless consent is expressly denied during the registration process, by attending any Purple Health and Safety class or event, you agree to the following:

• I hereby grant the Purple Health and Safety and its parent organization, Workhorse LLC, permission to use, release, publish, exhibit or reproduce my likeness in a photograph, video, or other digital media (“photo”), for promotional purposes, advertising, or any other purpose by Purple Health and Safety and its representatives, in any and all of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration.

• I understand and agree that all photos will become the property of the Purple Health and Safety and its parent organization, Workhorse LLC, and will not be returned.

• I hereby irrevocably authorize the Purple Health and Safety and its parent organization, Workhorse LLC, to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos for any lawful purpose. In addition, I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photo.

• I hereby hold harmless, release, and forever discharge the Purple Health and Safety, its employees, each and all persons involved, and Purple's parent organization, Workhorse LLC, from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.
