Presented by the Presidio Trust in partnership with Off the Grid, this year's Presidio Picnic will showcase the diverse food and cultures of the Bay Area through free cultural dance performance during the season.
Presidio Picnic is free and open to the public, and takes place on the Presidio’s beautiful Main Parade Ground, an expansive seven-acre lawn with amazing views of the park, the city and San Francisco Bay. This year's Presidio Picnic will feature more than 25 international mobile food creators, family-friendly activities include weekly yoga by CorePower Yoga at 11 am, lawn games, music, and free bike valet by the SF Bicycle Coalition, and monthly bike safety classes for kids by the Presidio YMCA. Every third Sunday of the month, Gigi Hill-Hopkins from the Bayview Hunters Point YMCA leads free Zumba from 11 am to 12 noon, followed by cultural dance performances at 12 noon and 2 pm and the San Francisco Library Book Mobile is on site.
Off the Grid encourages you to get to the Presidio on the free PresidiGo downtown shuttle or public transit (and explore the national park's many trails, beaches, and historic sites while you're there!).
