A letter from Yesica:
Dear Yogi,
As you probably know, pregnancy is a unique journey in which a woman experiences physical, emotional and mental changes that take place over a relatively short period of time. Yoga can help with relaxation, ease aches and pains that come with a growing baby as well as help a woman find community and support as she enters this new phase in life. Yoga can also help her tune-in to her body, awakening to the more subtle changes she is experiencing and prepare for the bigger changes that await her once her baby is born.
When women feel supported and empowered, all of society benefits. Yoga can help set the stage for a positive birth experience thus, in its own small way, help create a more peaceful and compassionate world.
Whether you choose to become a prenatal yoga teacher or compassionately support pregnant women in your public classes, this course will prepare you to confidently and safely offer yoga to pregnant women. As you learn about the different stages of pregnancy, you will learn techniques to best support pregnant students in class. I hope you join me!
