Pre-Surgical Assessment Training: PART 2

PRE-SURGICAL ASSESSMENT TRAINING- PART 2 ADVANCED ASSESSMENT ETHICS & SURGERIES

Please Note: PART 2 requires that a clinician has attended at least one previous pre-surgical assessment training.

Gender Health SF will provide a 3 hour training to Mental Health Providers who will learn advanced concepts for writing an effective pre-surgical assessment that meets medical necessity. We will review gender affirming surgeries, present key concepts framed within the Informed Consent Model, and discuss ethical considerations in relation to FFS and other surgeries. LCSW, ASW, LMFT, MFTi, LPCC and PsyDs are strongly encouraged to attend. Case workers and other providers interested in the process of pre-surgical assessment are also welcome.

Please keep in mind that this training is geared for providers that are predominately working with patients who are in our Public Health systems of care.
