With warmer temps and less clothing can often come the body critic from hell. Let's get out ahead of this one shall we?
Body Image is comprised of 4 parts.
1. How you see your body or perceive it visually.
2. The way you feel about your body (the amount of satisfaction or disatissfaction you feel toward your body).
3. The way you think about your body (pre-occupation with body shape or weight as well as types of thoughts).
4. Behaviors you engage in as a result of your body image (isolating, not participating in activities, binge eating/restriction cycles, clothes shopping avoidance)
If you struggle in any one of these areas, this workshop is for you. We will review each section and I will provide my best tools, teachings and coping strategies to provide you with tangible ways to work on each one. We will also end with a restorative yoga class (totally beginner friendly) that will tie in the group content and help you take small steps towards healing your relationship with your body once and for all.
