Please mark your calendars for an exciting evening of storytelling with GirlForward girls and Wendy Pearlman, author of We Crossed A Bridge and it Trembled, Voices From Syria. Wendy is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Northwestern University specializing in Middle East Politics.
Wendy will read from her book, followed by a panel discussion about the power of storytelling with GirlForward girls moderated by a staff member. We’ll wrap up with refreshments and sweet Syrian treats.
