Pom Pom Wall Hanging Workshop w/ Erica Fink

Join us Monday, April 24 from 6-9pm to get your craft on! We're super excited welcome Michigan-based artist and designer, Erica Fink to SMCo for a fun Pom Pom Wall Hanging Workshop! You'll learn to make a variety of pom pom + tassel styles and how to turn them into beautiful art for your walls. 

This class will introduce you to the magical world of yarn and the many possibilities it contains. You will learn how to transform single strands of yarn into fluffy, three dimensional pom poms and tassels and will also learn how to make rope from multiple strands of yarn. We will explore variations of pom poms and tassels, how to control shape and color and learn a bit about the history of these adornments in other cultures. You will arrange pom poms and tassels with ropes and wooden dowels to create a textural wall hanging piece for you to enjoy in your own home.

All materials (yarn, needles, wooden dowel) are included in the ticket price, but feel free to bring some of your own yarn as well!
