LOVE RUNNING, THE ENVIRONMENT, AND EVERYTHING SWEDISH!
JOIN THE AVILLE PLOGGERS
APRIL 21 FROM 10-12PM

The Andersonville Neighborhood will part take in a neighborhood-wide Clean Up Green Up that coincides with the Andersonville Flower and Garden Show on April 21 from 10-2PM. Grab your running shoes, a trash bag and plog Andersonville to join the efforts of the WFCW, WANT, EARC block clubs in partnership with the Swedish American Museum and the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce.

Registration is FREE. Plog solo, join a team, or start your own!

Plogging is a combination of jogging with picking up litter. It started as an organized activity in Sweden around 2016 and spread to other countries in 2018, following increased concern about plastic pollution. As a workout, it
provides variation in body movements by adding bending, squatting and stretching to the main action of running.
