Planning Section in the EOC & DOC

This is an offering of two integrated courses. This registration is for Day 1: Planning Section in the EOC & DOC. This course provides an overview of the Planning Section and how the section works in an emergency operations center (EOC and DOC). Students will learn the role of each position within the section and how Planning Section staff members interact with other stakeholders, support the planning process, and work together to achieve incident objectives. The course uses exercises, activities, and discussion to provide dynamic instruction on course material. Transportation: If arriving by car, please park in the short term parking lot and bring your ticket to the Conference Center reception desk for validation. The Max Red Line arrives at PDX every 15 minutes and drops off on the arrivals level. Take the escalator to the departure level and follow signs for the Conference Center. Lunch: Lunch is the responsibility of the attendee. There are food options available at PDX that offer street pricing.
