Pistol Gateway Class (2-3 Hours)

Strategic Outfitters Pistol Gateway Class (2-3 Hours) This class is for people that already have a Florida Concealed Weapon and Firearm License and would like to take either NRA Defensive Pistol or NRA Personal Protection In The Home (PPITH). These are small, intimate classes taught by husband and wife team—both former law enforcement officers, mature professionals with substantial firearms experience. Classes are conducted at our dedicated training facility with onsite range. Maximum of 8 students. Please take a look at our website for much more information about us and our philosophy: website and Facebook.  Please contact us if you would like to arrange a custom class date for four or more students. The class is half classroom and half range. The classroom portion will review the rules for safe firearm handling and proper shooting techniques (grip, aim, etc.). The range portion will provide an opportunity for you to practice safe handling and marksmanship skills. Our experienced Instructors will work with you to correct any issues and help you to gain confidence in your abilities. We provide .22 caliber revolvers and semi-auto pistols, along with the .22 caliber ammo. Optionally, you can bring your own handgun and ammo to shoot (we have ammo for sale in common calibers if you need it). We do not require a minimum number of students to conduct the class—if only one person is signed up, we run the class for that one student. In the unlikely event we are forced to cancel the class session you are registered for, you can either obtain a complete refund or you can select another date for that class and we will refund 10% of your payment. By Registering for this Class You Signify that You Understand and Agree to the Following:  You must be at least 18 years old You must not be prohibited by Florida or Federal laws from legally possessing a firearm All students are required to sign a liability waiver at the beginning of the class There are no refunds. If you are unable to attend the class session you have signed up for, your fees will be applied towards another session of the same class within 12 months. If you do not attend another session within 12 months, then your fees are forfeited.
