Syracuse Summer Theatre at the Oncenter returns for its third summer after its successful inaugural production of ‘Cabaret’ and the SALT Award winning Best Musical ‘Spring Awakening’. “Join us” as we bring magic to Syracuse with the musical ‘Pippin’ from legendary composer Stephen Schwartz (‘Wicked’, ‘Godspell’ and ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’). 

Young and naive, Pippin pursues war, sex, politics, and domesticity under the sardonic watch of the Leading Player and his troupe of enigmatic players. Featuring the famous songs “Magic to Do”, “Corner of the Sky” and “Morning Glow, Pippin hurtles the audience through the tumult of adolescence and dawning self-awareness. This immersive production will be held in the Civic Center’s intimate Bevard Studio, ensuring a spell-bound evening of emotional highs so close you could reach out and touch them.
