Pink Easel All Ages Watercolor Class

Pink Easel host picnic style art classes in Balboa Park were we encourage students to create from their imagination and creativity. Pink Easel will cater all art supplies needed to create some memories and complete this project. All ages and skill levels welcome. We ask that kids under 18 be accompanied by their parents or guardian.    

 A reminder that we'll be out in the sun sitting on the grass, some essentials are water, sunglasses, hat, snacks, and a blanket, just in case you need some extra room. Balboa Park has restrooms, ATMs, and free public WiFi through the park.

 Pink Easel will be held in Balboa Park, San Diego on the Botanical Building’s front lawn. We’ll provide a map of places we may set up. The final location depends on how busy the park is, but don’t worry it’s usually within view of the Botanical Garden.

 Pink Easel Art Classes will be at Balboa Park. Located near Downtown, Hillcrest, and Little Italy, Balboa Park is a beautiful and culturally inspired park filled with museums, galleries, and gardens, as well as, neighbors to the San Diego Zoo. There are many restaurants in Balboa Park like the Prado, Panama 66, and Café Mingei. Balboa Park is also close to two art supplies stores, Blick Art Materials and Artist and Craftsman Supply.

All Ages Watercolor:

Pink Easel host an all ages watercolor class for suggested ages 5+ to teens, with adult supervision. If just the kids are painting, just reserve a spot for them, but if parents/guardians want to join in on the fun, adults make sure you buy your ticket to. The all-ages watercolor class will have watercolor pencils, tubes, and pallets to pick from. You’ll be supplied with cold press watercolor paper, brushes, paints, aprons, easels, and more. Attendees are welcome to bring photos for references or just paint whatever comes to mind.

 Important Information:

Class begins promptly at the set time. Failure to show up within the first 30 mins., (without reaching out via phone or email) ticket holders forfeit their seat to walk-ups. Tickets are non-refundable but may be exchanged for a different class if Pink Easel is notified at least 7 days in advance from the original class. To make sure we have enough material for everyone please RSVP in advance. We will only accept walk-ups is we have enough space & supplies on hand. If the class does not reach the 3 person min. per class, the class will be canceled and tickets will be refunded 2 days before the class.

 In the event of rain:

Emails will be sent as soon as it is determined that we will be rained out. We will postpone the class or participants will have the opportunity to get a full refund on their ticket.
