We invite you to join us for a day of silence, worship, and prayer especially designed to nurture your soul. The Pierce Center for Disciple-Building at Gordon Conwell is offering Soul Sabbath and we hope you will make it a priority to spend a day with us.
Plan to arrive at the retreat center no later than 9 a.m. when we will gather as a large group for an introduction of the day and instructions on how you will use the remainder of your day. You will have your own time of silence and solitude indoors or outside, as well as group worship, a noon meal, and the option of meeting one-on-one with a spiritual director. The Soul Sabbath will conclude at 4 p.m.
Please bring your Bible, a journal, and a pen. That’s all unless you have a devotional book you want to bring. Leave behind all the distractions from school or work. In the slowing, we pray you will hear God’s still, quiet voice.
We are in prayer for you as you prepare for this day of Soul Sabbath.
